Laura Steenbergen is currently completing her Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at Leiden University. She is particularly interested in neuromodulatory effects on cognition. As a research assistant she has worked on several research projects, among which imaging of dopamine resources in the brain and the effect of tryptophan intake on social cognition. In September 2013 she will start a research internship at Maastricht University and work on a project focusing on the effect of cocaine on creativity. After finishing her degree at Leiden University Laura intends to pursue a Ph.D. position in the field of cognitive neuroscience.
