Jonathan Barnhoorn is a Research Master student in the Cognitive Neuroscience track at Leiden University. He has a background in graphic design and programming and has obtained a BSc in psychology. Jonathan is particularly interested in the intersection of technology and human behavior, ranging from usability research to brain-computer interfaces. Starting September 2013 at Philips Research, he will be investigating cognitive enhancement using light as part of his internship and thesis. After obtaining his Master’s degree, Jonathan intends to pursue a PhD position in the field of cognitive neuroscience.
