Iris Koele

Iris Koele obtained her research Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology and clinical Master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology at Leiden University in 2018. In January 2019 she embarked on a PhD project in the Brain and Development Research Center under the supervision of Prof. Berna Güroğlu and Dr. Anna van Duijvenvoorde. The focus of this project is on the behavioral and neural correlates of the role of peer relations, such as friendships, in social learning in typically developing adolescents. In addition, Iris will examine reward processing for peers in adolescents with ADHD in relation to their functional brain development.
