Sibel is an education and research staff member of the Brain and Development Research Center. She studied Applied Neuroscience of Education and Child Studies at Leiden University and obtained her master’s degree in 2015. For her master thesis she participated in the EEG study of ‘Samen Uniek’ and wrote her master thesis about FRN potential differences during the processing of social judgments in young children. She now assists in different (fMRI-)research projects, such as “Zelfbeeld” and “Brainlinks”. She is mainly interested in developmental neuroscience, especially in children and adolescents.
